Ann Corso Taylor is a partner in the firm. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, she handles matters encompassing every aspect of real estate law.
Ann advises clients on matters involving acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing. In recent years, she has been heavily involved in negotiating leases with national and local tenants for the developer of a new shopping center development. She also has been involved in the purchasing and selling of numerous apartment complexes across the state of Mississippi and has handled real estate acquisition and development issues for numerous gaming clients. She works with a number of different clients with the development of renewable energy projects, and she frequently represents banks in connection with the development of new bank sites.
Ann has considerable experience negotiating, structuring, and documenting complex financing transactions involving all types of collateral, ranging from real estate to inventory and receivables, for borrowers and lenders.
In addition to several state and national bar association memberships, Ann is a member of the Hinds County Bar Association and she is a founding board member of the Bessie Young Council, an organization that provides mentoring opportunities and financial scholarships to the non-traditional law student at the University of Mississippi. She also is a member of the board of the Mississippi Title Examination Standards, which is drafting a set of title examination standards to be utilized by all Mississippi attorneys.
